The delight of leaving Mirkwood Forest and finding our way to the Lonely Mountain. We are starting to see the signs that we are almost to the end of our quest, but dragons first! And snails….. so many snails. Do they show up anywhere else or am I just forgetting completely? Just about to the end of the book, so looking forward to finding out how this story ends and ties up.
